who we are

Our mission is rooted in confidence, support, and growth. We create spaces where girls are paired with relatable mentors who act like big sisters or trusted coaches. Through steady encouragement and guidance, girls learn to embrace their authentic selves and build the skills they need for the future.

Mentorship
Weekly one-on-one mentorship sessions build confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections.

Community Events
Workshops and group experiences give girls the opportunity to learn, grow, and support one another in uplifting environments.

what we do

tHE HEART OF OUR WORK

The heart of our work is simple: every girl deserves someone in her corner. Our mentors show up week after week to listen, guide, and encourage. Through mentorship and community, girls find the courage to use their voices, believe in their potential, and grow into leaders who lift others up.

The Roots of

IN HER CORNER

A young woman with curly dark hair, smiling, wearing a sleeveless pink dress with floral embroidery, standing against a plain white background.

In Her Corner Foundation was created from a vision by founder Scarlet Rodriguez, who saw the power of mentorship and the difference it can make in a girl’s life. Her own experiences showed her how important it is to have someone in your corner, someone who listens, encourages, and believes in you.

What began as a small mentorship effort has grown into a nonprofit serving girls ages 8–14 through one-on-one mentorship and confidence-building community events. Scarlet’s passion for creating safe and uplifting spaces has shaped In Her Corner into a movement rooted in confidence, support, and growth.
